Karakutu has started to organize seminars open to the public interested in the areas of work of the organization. These seminars are being held once a month for nine months since 2017, on different subjects. The speakers of the seminars chosen among academicians, artists, civil society activists who are working on discrimination and human rights violation with a focus on collective memory and/or facing the past. Seminars are organized with the intention of;
- Mainstreaming Karakutu’s areas of work
- Reaching a wider audience throughout the year and make the Memory Journey Program more visible not only to youngsters but also to academics, historians, researchers, writers, curators, prospective donors, etc.
- Increasing the knowledge and capacities of the volunteers of the organization
