The Fall School is a three days program that includes lectures, and reflection and discussion sessions as well as networking activities for young people between 18-26 ages engaging in Karakutu’s areas of work. It has two main objectives:
- Gathering young people from Turkey engaging in those areas of work to create an intensive and pluralist space of exchange and networking among them
- Increasing capacity of the young people interested/working in those areas of work with a program developed by Karakutu that includes theoretical knowledge, national and international practices of memorialization, and field visits
- Encouraging young people to engage in civil society organizations actively. Academics, experts on human rights and NGO representatives working on collective memory and human rights defense were among the lecturers of the program.
